One of the greates violinists of his generation

Considered one of the most promising violinists of his generation, Andrés continually works with various groups and formations on the European scene such as La Cetra Basel, Gli Incongniti, Artaserse (Philippe Jaroussky), Armonia Atenea, Il Gusto Barroco, Vesprés de Arnadí, Cantoría, La Guirlande, Il Fervore, El Gran Teatro del Mundo or Spira Mirabilis among many others.

It is worth highlighting their collaboration in 2023 performing Corelli’s Concerti Grossi with Amandine Beyer and Gli Incogniti, or the documentary made with Concerto 1700 and the Stradivari of the Spanish royal house, in 2024.

He has recorded CDs for numerous radio stations and record labels, both in different orchestras and in chamber groups, highlighting the latest one, Vivaldi’s Trio sonatas, which will be released in December 2024.

Andrés has collaborated as a guest professor in the early music department of the Musikhochschüle in Stuttgart, conducting workshops on historical interpretation.

In turn, he is invited to play at some of the most important music festivals in Europe, alongside artists such as Amandine Beyer, Andrea Marcon, Shunske Sato, Ivan Fisher, Fabio Biondi, Nicolas Altstaedt, Rachel Podger, Enrico Onofri, Franco Fagioli or Philippe Jaroussky among others.

Andrés has studied classical violin between Spain and Germany, and then moved to Switzerland, obtaining a Master and postgraduate degree in baroque violin at the Schola Cantorum in Basel, under the tutelage of Amandine Beyer.
